Ian’s property development journey began running a kitchen design and installation business where the most satisfying designs were those that involved major restructuring of the kitchen area to optimise the space.
It was then a natural progression into buying property for renovation. Ian relished the opportunity to revitalise properties into quality living accommodation.
Having gained insight into the possibilities and challenges of property development, Ian invested in personal and professional development, training with recognised property experts.
Ian’s property development journey really gained momentum in 2010, building a portfolio of 46 tenants. This was achieved by securing the right partners and investors and was done alongside working in his original business.

EQ Property Holdings are always on the look out for the right properties to develop. If you have a property, or know of a property that you think might be of interest, please get in touch.
We are based in Southampton, Hampshire so typically we stay within approximately an hour’s travel radius. We look at opportunities in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire and Surrey.
We take into consideration the impact of our development on the local area. Our experience suggests that converting an existing building causes less disruption and is faster to complete. We recognise that industrial and commercial buildings often have history and character that is worth retaining, if possible.
